Adding a recipient starts their onboarding: add a recipient, provide their USDC wallet, and share their verification link. Once verification is complete, Fiatswaps issues them a virtual bank account. Check the supported countries list first if you're not sure their country is covered.
1. Add the recipient
Go to Recipients and start a new recipient:
- Click + Add a recipient.
- Choose Individual for a person or Company / Agency for a registered business.
- Enter their legal full name and email address.
- Select the platform they sell on, and their handle if they have one.
- Click Save recipient & continue.
Note: Each recipient needs a unique email address. You can't reuse the same email for another recipient.
2. Provide the USDC wallet
Enter the wallet that receives the recipient's USDC:
- Enter the recipient's USDC wallet address.
- Wait for Fiatswaps to check the address. A green check means it's valid; a warning means the address has scam reports on record; an error means it couldn't be validated on the network.
- Click Continue.
Warning: Double-check the address before continuing. Sending USDC to the wrong address cannot be undone. Each recipient needs their own address — see one wallet per recipient.
3. Complete identity or business verification
Confirm you understand how the virtual bank account can be used, then complete verification for the recipient type you chose:
-
Check the box confirming the person who completes verification is the same person named on the recipient's payout receipts, then click Continue.
-
For an individual recipient, click Continue to verification to generate their verification link. Open it in a new tab and send that link to the recipient so they complete their own identity verification, or complete it yourself in the same tab if you already have their documents.
-
For a business recipient, enter the company's legal name, registration details, and registered address, then upload its formation document, shareholder and directors registry, and proof of business address. Submit for review. Fiatswaps completes business verification from these documents, not a link the business completes itself.
4. Receive the virtual bank account
Once verification is approved, Fiatswaps issues the recipient's virtual bank account — EUR and USD — within minutes. Track progress from the recipient's row on the Recipients list: draft, then verification, then awaiting the virtual bank account, then active.
If you don't finish adding a recipient in one sitting, open their row again and continue from where you left off.
5. Hide a recipient you no longer work with
Hiding takes a recipient off your list and stops every reminder and email for them. Nothing is deleted: their account details stay available and their whole history is kept.
- Open the recipient and choose Hide.
- Type the recipient's name to confirm.
- Click Hide.
To bring one back, go to Settings → Hidden recipients and restore it. The recipient returns to your list with its history and its account details intact.
Note: Hiding is the right way to close out a recipient you have stopped working with. Adding a second recipient for the same person instead splits their history across two records, and their USDC wallet cannot be reused on the new one.
